Portuguese Fleur de Sel – Cork & Glass Salt Cellar

Discover the delicate flavour and texture of traditional Portuguese Fleur de Sel, hand-harvested in the protected Sapal de Castro Marim Nature Reserve in Portugal's Algarve.

Light, crisp and beautifully delicate, these fine salt flakes crumble effortlessly between your fingers, making them ideal as a finishing salt for everything from grilled fish and vegetables to salads, meat, eggs and simple Mediterranean dishes.
Recommended by Michelin-starred Portuguese chef Alexandre Silva, this organic-certified fleur de sel adds a subtle final touch that enhances the natural flavours and aromas of your food without overpowering them.

Hand-Harvested in Portugal

The fleur de sel is carefully harvested and packed by hand in Castro Marim, an area of the Algarve renowned for its traditional salt production.
Unlike ordinary table salt, fleur de sel forms as delicate crystals on the surface of salt pans and is carefully collected to preserve its distinctive texture.
Use it as a finishing salt just before serving – simply take a pinch between your fingers and gently crumble the delicate flakes over your dish.

Award-Winning Portuguese Design

The fleur de sel is beautifully presented in a reusable Portuguese cork and glass salt cellar from the Elements collection.
Designed to protect the delicate salt from light and impact, the container combines two materials synonymous with natural Portuguese design: cork and glass.
Its innovative packaging has received the prestigious Red Dot: Best of the Best international design award.

Created using recycled and recyclable materials, the packaging has been deliberately designed for reuse long after you've enjoyed the original fleur de sel.

From harvesting to packaging, sustainability is at the heart of this Portuguese fleur de sel.
